Dear Ken,
The FedEx man just arrived with my lovely watch! Thank you so much for getting here so quickly. I just love it! I do not like a leather or stretchy strap, so this one is just perfect! After I ordered it, I was concerned that it might be too small as my wrist is larger and I have had problems finding bangle watches that fit correctly. To my surprise, the watch is actually a bit big! I will take it to my local jeweler and see if he can take a couple of links out.

The proposal went very well. We were on the banks of the Mississippi right
near Jackson Square in the French Quarter (New Orleans). I asked her to
marry me after reading the Claddagh Song poem and pledging my devotion. The
ring was perfect!! It matches our love and the Celtic weave matches other
art work we have and share.

Good News! I just picked up the ring this morning
after receiving the "final notice" for delivery/pickup
of registered mail from my local post office. I'm
blaming the United States Postal Service for this
blunder - I never received the first notice nor the
second. If I did get the first notice, I would have
had the ring 2 weeks ago (first notice was supposedly
left in my mail box 8/23)!
Anyways, after receiving and seeing this beautiful
ring, all my worries about the delivery of the ring
and frustration with the USPS all disappeared.
I can't wait until I give my girlfriend this
beautifully crafted Claddagh ring next week for her
birthday - she'll love it!
